The Carthaginian-Roman temple of Antas, dedicated to the adoration of the eponymous God of the Sardinians Sardus Pater Babai (Sid Addir for the Carthaginians), lays at about 10 kilometers south of the town Fluminimaggiore, in an area where Carthaginians and Romans settled being attracted by the abundant deposits of lead and iron present in the earth. – Galleria Henry, an important mining work dug in 1865, located 50 meters above sea level, just above the town of Buggerru, in continual connection with the cliff at the sea and full with breaches and cracks from which you can enjoy breathtaking views over the coast and sea. – The Su Mannau caves are found between Fluminimaggiore and Iglesias, which are particularly interesting by the presence of a cascade inside. – Additionally, there are many mining sites to visit within a ratio of 30 kilometers.
